2024 FICB Wine Challenge in Budapest

With participants from 7 nations, this FICB event hosted by the Pannonia Wine Sisterhood in areas around Budapest, Eger and Tokaj featured an international collection of wines which were tasted and rated during this 3-day event. The lovely part was that there was so much more to the program than just rating the wines! From Buda Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to a lunch at Varosliget’s Lake for an Enthronement Ceremony to a dinner cruise on the Danube, the attendees were royally welcomed!
Following the official 3-day program, most participants continued on with an additional 2-day extension and all said it was a spectacular series of events and that they especially wanted to thank the Pannonia Sisterhood for being such gracious hosts and sharing the very best of Hungary with them. What a wonderful opportunity presented by FICB for the brotherhoods of the world … including Knights of the Vine!
